Fountain of Tits
The Fountain of Tits is located in the courtyard of the Zignoli palace, which remains a somewhat hidden place in the city of Treviso. The authentic artifact, on the other hand, seriously damaged, has been moved to a shrine under the portico of the Palazzo dei Trecento. The Fountain of Tits was built in 1559, at the time of the podestà of the Republic of Venice following a severe drought that hit the city of Treviso and the surrounding countryside. From then until 1797, in honor of every new Podestà from the fountain flowed red wine from one breast and white wine from the other and all citizens could drink for three days for free.
