The pieve of San Lorenzo in Sovicille (SI) today is a simple building with a single nave and a neo-gothic tympanum due to the nineteenth-century renovations; in a door on the side serves as lintel a Romanesque bas-relief, depicting hunters fighting against a monstrous animal. Inside there are big frescos with the Madonna with the Child between the Saints Cristoforo and Agata in the middle and on the sides Sant'Onofrio and San Martino that gives the robe to the poor, an altarpiece by Alessandro Casolani with the Madonna with the Child and the Saints Giovanni Evangelista, Michele Arcangelo, Caterina d'Alessandria, Agata, Lorenzo and Pietro.
