It is a small hamlet along the ancient road that goes across Poggio al Vento, located near the Valico del Rospatoio that reach the Village of Crevole and then continue along the homonymous stream to Lupompesi and Murlo. An interesting detail: the road that crosses Casanova is paved in stone or paved with care and for this reason also called "salt".
