Nice place 103 – Bardini Garden (Florence)
The Bardini Garden in Florence is one of the most beautiful places from which to admire the beauty of the Tuscan capital.
The park owes its name to the art collector Stefano Bardini, who bought it in 1913, renewing it deeply. After the death of Bardini himself, the garden went through some years of neglect. However, today, after a restoration that lasted 5 years, the garden has returned to its former glory, offering the visitor a unique and precious spectacle.
One of the most fascinating areas that you can undoubtedly find in the garden is the baroque staircase, or a flight of steps that culminates in the most panoramic point of the entire park, from which you can enjoy a unique and exclusive view of the historic center of Florence.
The Bardini Garden offers free admission to visitors every first Sunday of the month, organizing, for the occasion, also guided tours. An opportunity, especially if you are in the area, not to be missed!
